Neuro Health Care 4 LMIC is a registered association under Articles 60 et seq. of the Swiss Civil Code ("CC"). Established for an indefinite duration, our association is headquartered in the Canton of Geneva. Our core objective is to foster productive partnerships and collaborations with governments, esteemed hospitals, and institutes in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs) worldwide.
At Neuro Health Care 4 LMIC, we are committed to enhancing local expertise in various domains, including Neurology, Neuroanatomy, Neurodiagnostics, and Endovascular and Neurosurgical treatments, within LMICs. Through our collaborative efforts, we aspire to empower healthcare professionals in LMICs, thereby advancing the quality of neurological care and treatment accessible to communities in need across the globe.
Our Missions
- Conducting Educational Events: Whether onsite or online, we are committed to organizing workshops, lectures, meetings, seminars, conferences, and clinical support sessions. These events serve to enhance the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals involved in Neuro Health Care in LMICs.
- Raising Public Awareness: We strive to spread awareness about stroke, brain and spine injuries, accident & trauma prevention, and management through various channels, including social media, newspaper articles, and collaboration with governmental and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). By engaging the public, we aim to promote preventive measures and improve outcomes for individuals affected by neurological conditions.
- Building Partnerships: We seek to develop collaborative relationships with international organizations and NGOs that share our goals and objectives. By leveraging collective expertise and resources, we can amplify our impact and reach more communities in need.
- Establishing Neuro Diagnostic Centers: In partnership with industry companies, we aim to initiate or enhance Neuro diagnostic centers in LMICs. This involves providing essential diagnostic equipment such as Ultrasound Systems, CT, MRI, and Angiography Units, along with comprehensive training and teleradiological services to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Improving Operating Setups: We are dedicated to establishing new and upgrading existing operating setups in LMICs. By investing in infrastructure and technology, we can enhance surgical capabilities and ensure access to essential Neuro surgical interventions for patients in underserved areas.
- Human Resource Development: We prioritize human resource training to facilitate the gradual escalation of clinical facilities at the doorstep of LMICs. By empowering local healthcare professionals with specialized training, we aim to build sustainable healthcare systems capable of delivering high-quality Neuro Health Care services.
- Neuro Rehabilitation: Recognizing the importance of rehabilitation in the recovery process, we advocate for and support Neuro rehabilitation initiatives in LMICs. Our goal is to ensure that individuals with neurological conditions receive comprehensive care, including rehabilitation services, to optimize their functional outcomes and quality of life.
- Collaborating for Equipment Provision: In collaboration with industry partners and donors, we work to secure essential equipment for establishing new or enhancing existing diagnostic, operating, and Neuro rehabilitation services in LMICs.
